Born in Virden, Manitoba in 1935
Attended Public and High School in Maryfield, Saskatchewan graduating in 1952
Commenced surveying with Saskatchewan Dept. of Highways in 1952 on the construction of the Trans Canada Highway at Grenfell
Attended Regina College and the University of Saskatchewan
Joined Rowe Engineering Ltd. in Regina in 1959 working on grid road construction
Joined UMA Engineering in 1961 as Grid Road District Supervisor in Saskatoon and North Battleford
Transferred by UMA Engineering in 1964 to Regina and commenced Articles with George Bennett, S.L.S., D.L.S.
Obtained S.L.S. Commission No. 197 in 1968 and C.L.S. Commission No. 1026 in 1981
Formed Stockton Surveys Ltd. in 1969 and sold company to Fugro GeoServices in 1997
President of S.L.S.A. in 1983
Office Manager for Fugro GeoServices until December 2011 when Fugro closed the Regina office
Articled Prakhar Shrivastava, Commission No. 310
Completed Fugro projects in 2012 and joined the staff of Focus Corporation in 2013. Continued to work with Focus and its successor, WSP Canada, until the present day
Honoured with Life Membership in the S.L.S.A. in 2016
Honoured by receiving plaque for 50 year membership in S.L.S.A. in 2018
Life Member Canadian Institute of Geomatics
Resided in Regina with wife Marie
Sons Paul (Ursula) in Ingleside, Ontario and Brian (Tobi) in Regina and grandchildren Keaton and Emmett
