Heather was born on August 13th, 1985 in Regina, Saskatchewan, to Patrick and Gwen Maloney. She was raised in Weyburn, Saskatchewan and graduated from the Weyburn Comprehensive High School in 2003. In 2005, Heather joined Condon Survey Group Inc. as a Survey Assistant before beginning her studies in Calgary, Alberta at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in 2006; enrolled in the Geomatics Engineering Technology Diploma program, where she obtained her Diploma in 2008. Shortly after completing her education through SAIT, she moved out to Burnaby, British Columbia to attend the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), graduating with a Bachelor of Technology in Geomatics, with Honours in 2010. She continued to work for Altus Group|Geomatics (formerly Condon Survey Group Inc.) during school breaks full-time, and throughout the school years on a part-time basis. 

Upon graduation from BCIT, Heather returned to Altus Group|Geomatics and has been employed by the company in various capacities and various locations since. In 2010, working as a Field Representative in Weyburn she followed in her brother, Ryan’s footsteps, and signed her articles to their father, Patrick. In April 2011 she relocated to the Yorkton office. On May 14, 2012 Heather was granted Commission #321, and shortly thereafter became the Yorkton Branch Manager. In March 2018, she relocated closer to home, and is now working out of the Regina office as a Project Manager. 

Heather currently resides in White City, Saskatchewan with her partner, Brandon Bennett and their two dogs, Ash & Willow. In her spare time, she is furthering her education in Geographic Information Systems, and enjoys fishing, playing hockey in the winter and spending her summers at the Saskatchewan International Raceway.
