Ernest Ward Walker

Since the formation of our Association, only one death has occurred in our membership viz the late Earnest Ward Walker, DLS, SLS, who was born at Cayuga, Ontario on Dec. 26, 1875, graduated in Applied Science from Toronto University 1906 and in the spring of the same year he came west and acted as Assistant to Mr. H.S. Carpenter on surveys in Regina District. On March 27, 1907, he obtained his Commission as Dominion Land Surveyor and 1st May in same year was appointed District Surveyor and Engineer for the Regina Public Works District which position he held until his death on 21st July 1910.
