It is with much regret that we place on regard the death of Charles Scott Cameron which took place at his home in Regina on September 27th. 1933, after a comparatively shorts illness and at the early age of forty-eight.

Mr. Cameron was born at Beaverton, Ontario, on December 6th, 1884, but left an orphan at the age of three and from then on until maturity he was cared for by older brothers. He was educated at Lindsey Collegiate and the University of Toronto, from which he graduated as a Civil Engineer in 1911.

During the seasons 1908-09 he was Assistant Engineer with the Yukon Gold Company, Dawson City, Yukon. Upon graduation in 1911 until 1913 he was employed by the City of Regina under the immediate direction of Mr. A. J. McPherson, C.E., then City Commissioner, in making special surveys and investigations as to the City's Water Supply and possible development. In 1913 until about August he was engaged as Assistant to the Chief Surveyor, Surveys Branch, Land Titles Office, and on March 15th, 1913 received hie commission as a Dominion Land Surveyor and as a Saskatchewan Land Surveyor on July 7th, of the same year. In 1914 he established a private practice in Regina as a surveyor and civil engineer and which he kept up until the time of his decease. On November 16th, 1916, he was elected an associate Member of The Engineering Institute of Canada.

During portions of 1917-18 Mr. Cameron served with the Canadian Engineers, Canadian Expeditionary Forces.

In 1922 he organized the Saskatchewan Concrete Culvert Company which later became the Concrete Products Limited. Mr. Cameron wan president and manager of the company from organization until his death and in this particular connection he became widely know throughout the three Prairie Provinces. He was also an active and enthusiastic members of the Regina Board of Trade.

In Toronto, June 15th, 1911, Ur. Cameron married Miss Alice Wallace of Minneapolis, Minnesota, U.S.A., daughter of Mr. & Mrs. T. M. Wallace prominent businessman of that city. There were two children, Margaret age 12 and James age 9. Mr. Cameron leaves four brothers, James G. and William M., both of Toronto, Angus E. of Beaverton, and Kenneth A. of Omaha, Nebraska, U.S.A.

He was a member of the Masonic Order, the Assiniboia Club, several local golf clubs and other organizations and throughout his life was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Cameron was always fond of the great outdoors and especially enjoyed a game of golf. His ever-genial disposition won him many friends and those most close to him state that during the past few difficult years he was ever kind and generous to those less fortunate than himself.
